Shamail holds the role of Investment Research & Marketing team at India Avenue, involved in portfolio construction, performance, manager research, risk management and compliance. She also provides marketing support for the sales process. She has over 19 years of experience in asset management across operations, research, learning & development, and sales support functions. Before joining India Avenue, her focus was on investment research, manager selection, and L&D. She has previously worked at IDFC Asset Management, Standard Chartered Asset Management, ICICI Bank but predominantly at ING Investment Management in India (2006-2013).
